QVP, SCE and Wakala support
Some Saudi work visas need extra steps: QVP qualification verification for many professional job titles, Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) accreditation for engineering roles, and the employer's electronic authorisation (Wakala) to a recruitment office. Safar Injaz, a UAE-based service, checks which apply to your case, helps prepare the applications and follows them up.
Help with Saudi work visa documentation and professional registration: QVP, Saudi Council of Engineers registration and electronic authorisation (Wakala).

You're probably here because
- The visa job title needs qualification verification (QVP), and you want the degree and transcripts prepared correctly.
- You are an engineer or engineering technician with a Saudi job offer and need SCE accreditation.
- You are a Saudi employer and want to understand the electronic authorisation (Wakala) for your work visas.
- You are an agent with several candidates and need to know which of them need QVP or SCE.
- A visa file is on hold because a verification, registration or authorisation is missing.
What to send us
Start with clear copies. We'll tell you if and when an original is needed.
- Passport copy and a recent photo
- Visa details, including the job title on the visa
- Degree certificate and transcripts, for QVP or SCE
- Experience letters, where the verification asks for them
- The employer's authorisation details, where a Wakala is involved
How it works
Check what applies
From the visa details and the job title, we check whether QVP, SCE accreditation or a Wakala applies, and confirm the current requirements for your case.Prepare the documents
We check the degree, transcripts and other papers, and tell you early if anything needs attestation or translation first.Applications
With your permission, we help prepare and submit the QVP and SCE applications on their official platforms. A Wakala is issued by the employer; we check its details and coordinate with the office named on it.Follow-up
We follow the applications and tell you what is outstanding. Once a QVP application is qualified, the result goes to the Saudi visa systems and the visa file can move on to stamping.
What we don't do
Being clear about this up front saves you time and money.
- We don't issue the Wakala. Only the employer can give the electronic authorisation, on the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs visa platform.
- We don't verify qualifications or grant accreditation. QVP results and SCE accreditation come from the Saudi authorities.
- We can't change the job title or category on a visa. That is set by the employer's visa in Saudi Arabia.
- We don't handle iqama, work permits or registration renewals inside Saudi Arabia after arrival.
- We can't promise a result or a date. Each authority decides and sets its own processing time.
Safar Injaz provides assistance and coordination subject to applicable regulations and service-provider authorisations. Visa issuance and approval remain with the relevant authorities.

Questions about QVP, SCE and Wakala
What is QVP?
QVP is the online qualification check used by Saudi Arabia's Professional Accreditation programme (the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development calls the service Professional Verification). For many professional job titles, the applicant's degree is verified before arrival, and the result is sent to the Saudi visa systems. Whether it applies depends on the job title, so we check it for your case.
Does QVP apply to my job?
It depends on the job title on the visa. Professional Verification covers many skilled occupations, including engineering and health roles, and applicants from most countries. For some skilled trades, the worker may instead need to pass a skills test at a test centre before the visa is issued. We tell you which applies.
Who needs Saudi Council of Engineers accreditation?
Engineers, and some technicians, working in engineering roles in Saudi Arabia need professional accreditation from the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE). If the visa job title is an engineering one, accreditation can be applied for from the home country, usually before the visa is processed. We check the requirement against the job title.
What is a Wakala?
For a Saudi work visa, the Wakala is an electronic authorisation the employer gives on the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs visa platform to a recruitment office, so that office can process the visa with the Saudi embassy or consulate. Only the employer can issue it. The same word is also used for a legal power of attorney, which is a different document.
How long does it take?
It varies. Some professional qualification procedures take 2 to 4 weeks. All timelines are estimates and depend on the relevant authorities and individual circumstances.
How much does it cost?
It depends on which procedures apply, the applicant's country and the documents needed. Contact us for a personalised quotation. We give you a clear breakdown of our service charges and the applicable government fees before proceeding.
